Trauma

Many different emergencies/traumas may occur to persons with hemophilia, just as to others. The most common are:

- animal bites

- burns

- falls

- fractures

- gunshot wounds

- motor vehicle accidents

- myocardial infarctions

- ocular injuries

- puncture wounds

- dislocated joints

A major dose of factor should be infused as soon as possible (before any test, x-rays, debriding, sutures, etc.).
